Well Evan is TDY to Florida (yeah his life is SO hard for him) and so I am playing single mom. Now most kids will tell you all the things that they get away with and the things mom slacks off on when dad is gone. This is what I hear:
Payson: When is Dad coming home? You are NO FUN!!
Devin: Dad cooks better then this, can we eat out?
Bekah: You don't tuck me in right. I want dad.
Travis: Dad would know what to do.
Payson: You are NO FUN! I want dad to come home.
Payson: Your boring. When's dad coming home?
So I guess I am offically boring, no fun, and unable to do anything right. I am feeling SO loved and appreciated. Guess I will have to switch Dad places and lay around a hotel for 3 weeks in beautiful florida (my dream!) I am trying to be grateful that they love him and he has such good relationships with them, but my bitterness is getting in the way. :-)

It sounds to me like you are doing things RIGHT! If the kids thought it was all fun and games they wouldn't be ready for the world! Keep your chin up, it does get better and the kids will realize how wonderful you are!
ya I'm the boring on at my house dad is the one who play with them I make them do there jobs and get there home work done. so it sounds like my house
